Saturday, Oct. 1st

Morning:

 from 10 AM unil 12 noon

Olley-the-Trolley tour of Omaha with guide.

Departs from Marriott at 10:00.

Take a guided tour of Westside High (free)

Meet at the main entrance on east side of the building

at 10 AM

 

Afternoon:

 from 2 PM until 3:30 PM 

Behind-the-scenes tour of Henry Doorly Zoo (free)

You must arrange for your own transportation to the zoo (3701 So. 10th St.)

Meet at Guest Services near the front entrance to the zoo (no admission will be charged) at 2 PM. Tram transportation within the zoo will be provided.

Other options:

Watch a little football together in the Marriott lounge; play some golf; walk to Iowa on the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge (and back); hike Fontenelle Forest; visit Lauritzen Botanical Gardens (lead benefactor for which was our classmate Bruce Lauritzen who left WHS after our freshman year); visit the SAC Air Force Museum; visit Joslyn; see the Durham Western Heritage Museum )lead benefactor was the family of our classmate Steve Durham; hang out in the Old Market area; try your luck at the casinos and dog track in Council Bluffs.
